Navin … barman extraordinaire, carpet weaving guru and one of the nicest blokes going! This is the first of 4 pods with members of the Wanderthirst family in Kathmandu.
Born and raised in Chitwan, Nepal, Navin was involved in a motorbike accident at the age of 12 where he lost his arm at the shoulder, now 29, we talk through how that happened and how life brought him to be in Kathmandu, working the bar of one of the best spots in town, whilst also honing his craft as a weaver, designing and creating his own Nepalese rugs. A real pleasure to be able to grab a chai with this man!
